Intentional Presence and Community with Jason Lee
Jason Lee is an intentional presence. He’s a committed family man, a fellow Front Row Dad, an entrepreneur, consultant and the creator of the Living Question podcast. He embodies the spirit of intention and curiosity through all these identities.
We start our convo around identity and simplicity. Jason shares some of his wisdom and mentorship around simplification, from who we are to how we communicate. Then we bridge into the topic of presence. We discuss the power of the present moment, deeper awareness, and simple metaphors for optimizing our being in presence.
Our convo then shifts into community. Jason and I met years ago through the Front Row Dads community, which he continues to lean into. Now he’s also focused on building local community called “Second Sundays” in his home town. He shares some of the challenges and rewards of being intentional here, plus his different motivations for wanting more localized community.
Then we come back to some insights around self development. We dig into deeper growth through embodiment, less consumption, and learning to listen to yourself. We also break down the concept of being selfish, for both ourselves and our families.
This convo was real and inspiring. I appreciate Jason for his authenticity and willingness to lead. He’s a man with many options, and he chooses to be intentional about where he invests his time, energy and resources. I also dig how he shows up as his true self 🙂
